☾☽ Hey there! Thanks for visiting my site!
 
I'm Kate. I'm a musician living and working in Tokyo and LA. I do lots of session singing/writing, and I write & perform my own songs too.

How'd I get here? Well, I'm a California girl who moved to Tokyo a few years ago to explore my Japanese roots and have an adventure.  What an adventure it has proven to be! 

Singing and writing have become a full-time job in Tokyo since then. I started out by playing in and organizing a lot of live shows in Tokyo, where I met many fantastic musicians and all of a sudden I was singing and writing for TV and Web Commercials, TV Shows, and all kinds of other projects. It's been a dream come true!! You can hear some of my work here. I'm also working on finishing my debut EP of original music that I'm really proud of. It should be done soon.

Right now I'm spending about half of time in LA catching up with family and friends and scoping out the music scene there. I'll be in LA pretty much full time from 2020.  ​
